JPR Matured Farmyard Manure

JPR'S traditional Farmyard manure is produced from our own herd of cattle. This enables us to carefully monitor and manage the manure right up to the point of sale.

Our cattle are bedded on clean chopped straw during the winter months and fed on a grass based diet which we produce during the summer.

After the cows have calved in the spring, the cows and calves are let into their summer pasture.

It is the manure and straw combined, which produces the raw material for our top selling range of farmyard manure and JPR Gold soil conditioned/mulch.

The manure is collected and stacked in large heaps. These are turned on a regular basis producing high temperatures. This composts the manure very quickly and kills off weed seeds.

The result is a pleasant, rich, dark composted manure full of natural goodness, which is of benefit to all soils.
